The Black Board of Directors Project (BBODP), an advanced leadership program, was started in Phoenix in 1984 to fill the void of Blacks and others on various on corporate, charitable and public policy-making boards and commissions at the local, state and national levels and other leadership positions.

In the organization's 26-year history, BBODP has placed over 2,000 Blacks and others on various boards and commissions.

Congratulations to The Black Board of Directors Project (BBODP) founder, Marvin Perry, on receiving an Honorary Doctorate from The University of Advancing Technology (UAT).

The UAT will award the Honorary Doctorate on Saturday, April 28, 2007 during the university commencement.

Dr. Marvin Perry selected as a 2008 co-recipient of the
Arizona State Bar of Arizona's Award of Appreciation.
